Young Momentum exists to create a space where ambitious young people can grow, connect, and support one another. Every member plays a role in protecting the culture of the community.

By joining Young Momentum, members agree to follow these principles.

Respect the people around you

Treat every member, guest, speaker, and venue partner with professionalism and respect. Disagreements are natural, but disrespectful behaviour is not acceptable.

Protect the room

Many conversations within Young Momentum involve personal experiences, business ideas, or career decisions. Members must respect the privacy of these discussions and avoid sharing sensitive information outside the community without permission.

Contribute positively

Young Momentum is not a passive networking group. Members are encouraged to participate, share ideas, ask thoughtful questions, and support the growth of others.

No harassment or discrimination

Harassment, intimidation, discrimination, or aggressive behaviour will not be tolerated under any circumstances.

No predatory selling

Young Momentum is a relationship-first environment. Members must not aggressively sell services, recruit employees, or pressure other members for commercial opportunities.

Business opportunities may naturally arise through relationships, but unsolicited or pushy sales behaviour is not appropriate.

Respect the venues

Events take place in partner venues across the Hills District. Members must behave responsibly and respectfully toward staff, guests, and property.

Safety comes first

Members should prioritise their own safety and the safety of others during events. If a situation feels uncomfortable or unsafe, members should notify the Young Momentum team.

Protect the culture

Young Momentum carefully curates its community. Members who consistently undermine the values, environment, or safety of the community may have their membership revoked.

  • Behaves in a way that damages the community environment

Termination may occur without prior notice where necessary to protect the community.

Termination of membership does not entitle the member to a refund of subscription fees already paid.

8. Events and Meetups

Young Momentum organises community events including Think Tanks and Masterminds.

Members acknowledge that:

  • Event dates, venues, and formats may change
  • Attendance confirmation may be required prior to events

Events may occasionally be rescheduled or cancelled due to venue availability, speaker changes, or unforeseen circumstances.

Young Momentum will make reasonable efforts to notify members of any changes.
